Services
JP Smith Plumbing & Son provides building, construction, renovation and repair services including but not limited to insurance work, extensions, alterations, internal refurbishments, and patios and driveways. All work is carried out to current building regulations and industry standards.
Quotations
All quotations provided are free of charge and without obligation. Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. A quotation does not constitute a contract until accepted in writing by both parties.
Payment Terms
Payment terms will be agreed in writing before work commences. Stage payments may be required for larger projects. Final payment is due upon satisfactory completion of the agreed works.
Warranties
All work carried out by JP Smith Plumbing & Son is guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months from completion unless otherwise stated. This guarantee covers defects in workmanship and materials supplied by us.
Insurance
JP Smith Plumbing & Son maintains full public liability insurance and employers liability insurance. Copies of insurance certificates are available upon request.
Variations
Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be confirmed in writing. Additional costs arising from variations will be communicated and agreed before the work is carried out.
Cancellation
Either party may cancel the contract by giving reasonable written notice. Any work completed and materials purchased prior to cancellation will be payable.
Limitation of Liability
JP Smith Plumbing & Son shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability shall not exceed the contract value of the works.
Disputes
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through discussion in the first instance. If a resolution cannot be reached, mediation or arbitration may be pursued. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
